My first time ever wearing makeup was when I was 16. As a junior in high school I was able to attend homecoming alongside a best friend. I felt beautiful in my pink homecoming dress and 'Dolled' up in makeup Iknew it was my makeup that I simply adored more than anything. I was always comfortable in my own skin however, I couldn't believe what makeup had done for me. I knew then that I wanted to feel that way everyday. The next day I asked my mom if I could wear makeup to school, of course she said no, but later agreed to allow me to practice in the house. Soon after the rule became lifted and I could wear mascara out, and once I saw those lashes, the rest was history! I began to research makeup application skills on sites such as YouTube, magazine tears etc. and practiced for hours each day until I had mastered my skill. Now that I have grown up I have pushed myself and firmly believe in the idea that I want to be the Somebody that Makes Everybody feel like a Somebody. Makeup is no longer a hobby of mine nor am I just a young girl playing in her mom's makeup.
